OSS February 2015 (Kidlington)

February’s (second) race will be around the streets of Kidlington, somewhere we haven’t ventured before, and has been planned by John Owens.

Event centre

The event will be based at the Black Horse pub in Banbury Road. Parking is limited, you will need to find on-street parking in the surrounding area if arriving by car. There are frequent buses (number 2) to Kidlington from central Oxford.

Race Format

60 minute score (visit as many controls as you can and return within 60 minutes). Remember to bring a watch and a pen! Start times are between 6.30pm and 8pm, starting whenever you’re ready. See About Street-O for a more detailed description. You must not run inside the pub.

Terrain

Largely quiet tarmac roads and paths. The exception is the main road through town for which the light controlled pedestrian crossings will be marked on the map.
