DESCRIPTION:Once again like last year\, we are escaping central Oxford for a round around the streets of Abingdon thanks to Matt Hill. \nEvent centre \nThe event will be based at the Boundary House pub in Oxford Road\, Abingdon. \nThere is parking at the rear of the pub\, and the X3 and X13 bus routes from Oxford stop just outside the pub at the traffic lights.\nBus Routes \nRace Format \n60 minute score (visit as many controls as you can and return within 60 minutes). Remember to bring a watch and a pen! Also as the evenings have drawn in a bit\, a head torch could also be useful as there may be a few unlit roads and paths. Start times are between 6.30pm and 8pm\, starting whenever you’re ready. See About Street-O for a more detailed description. You must not run inside the pub. \nTerrain \nLargely quiet tarmac roads and paths. North-east Abingdon is full of complex housing estates\, reminiscent of the urban events you may have run in Didcot. \nSocial \nAs usual\, please stay after you have run to discuss routes\, mistakes\, the weather or anything else that takes your fancy. The Boundary House serves food until 9pm. \n
