DESCRIPTION:The first Street-O of 2020 is in Thame to the East of Oxford. We return again to Thame after last years OSS and TVOCs full urban orienteering in September. This event has been planned by Jon Harvey and will allow you to visit some familiar places. \nEvent centre\nThe event centre is the The James Figg\, 21 Cornmarket\, Thame\, Oxon\, OX9 2BL  Tel 01844 260166.\nWe are located in the ‘Stables’ at the rear of the pub. From the High Street\, go through the arch and the ‘Stables’ if found on the right. \nParking: Some parking is available in the High Street and Cornmarket near the pub in the centre of Thame (OX9 0BE)\, it is free after 6pm. There are 124 spaces in the Cattlemarket Car Park (OX9 3FD)\, parking is free outside of 9am to 5pm.  An alternative is Southern Road OX9 2EE (65 spaces)\, free after 5pm. \nThere is a bus from Oxford to Thame (The Sapphire 280 from Park End Street but takes 55 minutes) – please check with Arriva bus company for details and times.  Please note Haddenham & Thame Parkway Station on the Chiltern railway line is three miles away. \nRace Format\n60 minute score (visit as many controls as you can and return within 60 minutes). Remember to bring a watch and a pen! Start times are between 6.30pm and 8pm\, starting whenever you are ready. Entry costs £2. See About Street-O for a more detailed description. A head torch will be useful. \nTerrain\nMostly tarmac roads and paths (dependant on route choice). Chinnor Road and the High Street can be busy so please take care. \nSocial\nIf you can\, please stay after you have run to discuss routes\, mistakes\, the weather or anything else that takes your fancy. The James Figg bar will be open and food will be available afterwards up to 8-30pm. So you may need to run early to be back for last food orders. Please support the venue.
