DESCRIPTION:The December event will be around the streets of Headington and has been planned by Neville Baker. There may be a Christmas points bonus on offer by Nev\, details at the event if in operation.  \nEvent centre \nThe event centre is the White Horse Headington at 1 London Road\, Oxford\, OX3 7SP. \nWe would encourage you to arrive on foot\, by bicycle or by public transport if possible – there are many bus routes between the city centre and Headington which pass the pub door. There is a car park if you are coming from further afield\, though. \nRace Format \n60 minute score (visit as many controls as you can and return within 60 minutes). Remember to bring a watch and a torch since it is now very dark! Start times are between 6.30pm and 8pm\, starting whenever you’re ready. See About Street-O for a more detailed description. \nTerrain \nTarmac roads and paths. Most roads have a 20mph limit and low traffic levels. London Road is busy but there are plenty of sensible crossing points – please take care. The area is mainly flat unless the area goes North West in which case Headington hill comes into play. \nSocial \nIf you can\, please stay after you have run to discuss routes\, mistakes\, the weather or anything else that takes your fancy.
