DESCRIPTION:April’s event will be around the streets of Temple Cowley\, and is being planned by Neville Baker. It’s a tricky area with roads and footpaths giving plenty of route choice. \nEvent Centre \nThe event will be based at the Marsh Harrier pub\, 40 Marsh Road\, Cowley\, Oxford\, OX4 2HH. Please note that there is no car park\, you will need to find on-street parking in the surrounding area if arriving by car. \nRace Format \n60 minute score (visit as many controls as you can and return within 60 minutes). Remember to bring a watch and a pen! A head torch could also be useful as there may be a few unlit roads and paths. Start times are between 6.30pm and 8pm\, starting whenever you’re ready. See About Street-O for a more detailed description. You must not run inside the pub\, an allowance of 30 seconds will be made for getting in and out the door. The evenings are getting lighter so for a very early start you may not need a head-torch. \nTerrain \nLargely tarmac roads and paths with a 20mph speed limit\, but please cross carefully and make use of pedestrian crossings where available. \nSocial \nAs usual\, please stay after you have run to discuss routes\, mistakes\, the weather or anything else that takes your fancy.
